BEET SUGAR

Beet sugar is a form of sugar which is extracted from a cultivar of Beta bulgaris.

Beets can be cultivated in temperate climates, where sugar cane requires a tropical environment. Beets are cheaper to grow in reference to sugar cane. Largest producers are the USA, France, Germany, Russia and Turkey.
